Ok so bonita fish AKA Brittany said I had to write something about myself.  Here are some questions she suggested I answer:

where are you looking forward to visiting the most?

**Thailand.  No wait, I am already here.

What’s the weirdest thing you’ve ever eaten?

First impression of thailand

**I hate it.
what do you miss already?

**Nothing. Thailand is perfect.  Ok ask me in  a few months.
How many five year olds do you think you could take in a fight

**a lot especially if there are small Thai babies.

About Me

Before Thailand, I was finishing up graduate school, trying to figure out how the real world operated, and if I was really ready to join it; Surat seemed like a nice middle of the road decision, where I had to be an adult, but where I did not have to constantly obsess over pay raises, insurance, and a mortgage. If I could describe myself in three words I would say that I am: sarcastic, a perfectionist, and open minded (which makes it four words, yes, I can count!) I am looking forward to a lot (traveling, meeting new people, getting the hang of my motorbike), but truly, life is good just as it is.

Back to the blackboard: first day of school for Thida

Today is the first day of school for teachers at Old Thida and New Thida.  Suratpittaya is off until the 1st of November – lucky guys.

Congrats to Becky for making it through her first day of P2s, and welcome back, Daniel, Kristi, Evan, Amber, Joe, Janet, and John!

I thought about taking a picture of the teacher’s room being locked when we arrived; I also thought about getting a picture of the mid-morning downpour – but I didn’t.  Instead, I made a poll for this post to jazz it up:

What were the highs and lows of your first day of school? Leave a quick response in the comments!
